Crypto-assets are highly volatile. You could lose all of the money you put in. Only trade with money you can afford to lose.
Market risk
Prices can rise or fall sharply within minutes. Past performance is not a guide to future results.
Leverage and liquidation
Futures let you control a position larger than your margin. A small price move against you can wipe out your margin. When your margin falls to the maintenance level, your position is liquidated automatically, and you lose the margin allocated to it. Use the liquidation price and risk meter shown on every position, and consider stop-loss orders. In fast markets, orders can fill at worse prices than expected.
Funding
Perpetual futures charge or pay a funding rate every 8 hours. Holding a position for a long time can cost more than you expect.
Liquidity
Some markets have few buyers or sellers, which can mean wide spreads and orders that don’t fill fully. The order preview shows the worst-case price before you confirm.
Technology and networks
Blockchain networks can become congested, change their rules or suffer outages. Sending crypto on the wrong network, or without a required memo, can result in permanent loss.
Custody
While your assets are on Zarkoin, you rely on our security and solvency. We publish proof of reserves so you can check that customer balances are backed.
Regulation
The legal status of crypto-assets varies by country and may change, which could affect your ability to use or withdraw them. Crypto-assets are generally not covered by deposit-insurance or investor-compensation schemes.
Earn products
Earn rates are not guaranteed and flexible rates can change. Locked products can’t be redeemed early.
P2P
P2P trades involve fiat payments made outside Zarkoin. Fraudulent or reversed bank payments can lead to losses or frozen bank accounts. Only accept payments from accounts in the buyer’s verified name.
